A. The poet gets surprised when he gets an answer from the rain as it is a non-living thing and cannot speak. in this poem, to the poets and readers amazement, the rain gives a reply.

A. The title of the poem is quite significant. Here, poet use personification and imaginary figure of speech. It depicts the imagination of the poet. He is comparing the rain and its significance to the poetry.
